--> PAGE NEEDS TO BE FLIPPED. Miss Clark (teacher at daughter Ruth's school) Downshire Road, Newry Ruth (Ruth Martin Carvill) Crystal Palace Art School Madam Montembault (spelling?) John Carvill writes to Miss Clark at Ruth's school and encloses a check for 7=7=0 for her to attend Crystal Palace Art School until the term ending the end of July next. He asks the teacher to get her a railway season ticket. He agrees with the teacher that Ruth should take on new expenditure out of her allowance so she has some responsibility for the subjects and will be more serious this term. He gives permission for her to attend Madam Montembault's class.
