Description
Ruth (Ruth Martin Carvill), daughter of Elizabeth Martin & John Carvill. Miss Clark E. Carvill (Elizabeth Martin Carvill) Elizabeth Carvill is upset and anxious about the return this term of Ruth-s "silly & disgusting behavior' that has something to do with her painting free time. She is asking Miss Clark her advice as to whether Ruth should return to boarding school and continue taking painting classes. She does mention that Ruth gets much correspondence including from a girlfriend named "Berry'. [Ruth-s 2nd husband was William Perry - could this possibly be a pseudonym?)
