Description
Elizabeth Martin Carvill writes to her daughter Ruth (Mrs. Philip Crossle) to let her know that she is not going to be in Dundalk tomorrow. She inquires about wine sent by Ruth's father (John Carvill), and says it is unwise for Ruth to write when it "pains your eyes so much." She hopes Ruth is feeling better every day.
