First letter from J Carvill to his brother Patrick: "I enclose an enquiry addressed to me from a Miss Finlay, 109 Rue du Cherche Midi, Paris (6m & which I send on to you. So far I have made no reply nor have I any idea who the writer is. Yours sincerely, J. Carvill." 2nd letter: "copy of the enquiry referred to in my letter to Patrick copied on this page. Paris. Nov 20th/12. J. Carvill, Esq. Newry, Ireland. Sir If your sister in law Mrs. P G Carvill of Newry is living in Paris I would be much obliged if you would kindly send me her address I've something of importance to communicate.
