Description
In the morning we went to church in Carlingford. Both the service and the sermon were very dull and dead and alive. We had heard that Mrs Moore and Mr were coming down to spend the day with Miss Moore so mother sent me down to ask them all to come up for tea. I played tennis with Crawford also ? the puppy most of the afternoon and after the others had gone. I played with Mother till supper time. Today I heard a story about the price of Irish cattle, which explains how everybody thought my prices quite impossibly cheap in C.P. Once an Irishman was walking along driving a great many cattle and he met an Englishman and he asked him how much he was selling his
