Description
Yesterday being Sunday, Mother and I went to Church in Carlingford. Mr Bluett conducted the whole service and preached. I almost fell asleep in the middle of the service, he is so mopey and sad, he never raises his eyes the whole time he is preaching as if he was afraid to meet anybodies eye. I was greatly amused by a lady called Mrs Mateen (transcriber's note: could be Mc Ateer) who rustles into Church in a black silk dress all lace and each flounce is a different pattern. I think they are relics of concient glory ? and her headgear is the most wonderful of everything. It seems to have feathers
