Description
Yesterday morning Mother stayed in bed for breakfast as she was not very well and I brought her breakfast, and afterwards counted the dirty clothes. I made some rather funny mistakes, as I had never done it before. Afterwards I painted a ship. After lunch we both went down to a very large picnic given by Mrs Gordon from Newry, there were about 40 people, the picnic was given in the castle in Carlingford and after tea we all played rounders till it was time to go. Most of the people had come from Newry and rode back. The last I saw of them they were trying to tow each other along.
