Description
On Tuesday morning I went up to Newry to the tennis club. In the morning I stayed in our garden and ate fruit and took me to lunch at Father's club. And after lunch I went to the Grattan's to get them to come to the club. When we got up there, we found the Glennirs (?) had arrived before us and also the Gordons as we had arranged to have a little tournament between ourselves. There were eighteen of us all together. Most of the grownups were very cross at us having taken a crowd to play on, thought we were all overage except the two youngest Grattan's, one can always
