  • Description

Ruth Martin Carvill's very inventive essay, untitled, about the month of March.   It included a procession of men, a thin maiden whose touch made things die, a boy who tries to catch up & revive the plants, March arriving driving 4 windy steeds seated between quarter day and St Patrick, maidens follow the procession spreading flowers, birds arrive, trees blossom, roses & crocus and spring flowers and clear skies round out the procession that ends with a setting sun - and this all banished hunger. Teacher's comment - Unfinished.   Too long drawn out.   No grade. Left page - practice words
