Description
Ruth Martin Carvill's poem entitled "The Legend of the Daffodils". It is a poem of a lady Isabel who it was claimed had bewitched the children and was to be burned at the stake. The faggots [bundle of sticks] turned to daffodils and thus saved Isobel from certain death. Last page includes spelling words.
