Philip Crossle (husband of Ruth Martin Carvill) Ruth (Ruth Martin Carvill) J. Carvill (John Carvill, father of Ruth Martin Carvill) Apparently Philip wrote to Ruth's parents to let them know that Ruth was ill and Carvill's response was that nothing good would come of seeing her now, but he would see her once she was well. He was glad to hear she was much improved. NOTE: Ruth and Philip married without permission of her parents on the 29th of July 1908 in Dublin.
