    Downshire Rd, Newry - April 14, 1916 Dear Minnie: I am sorry to hear you have been laid up.   I hope it is only passing.   I have been laid up also since the day after I saw you in Hill St Last week until today.   I hope to send you some Burgundy tomorrow - probably by rail to Warrenpoint and thence per the 4 oclock car - It is not as good as I would like it.   I have not been able to hit a good streak of wine lately.   There is sometimes a bit of luck in it - I think.   Yours sincerely J.
